Papa Rouyo

The Papa Rouyo distillery was born out of a collective of planters from Guadeloupe, themselves descended from generations of farmers. The uniqueness of our rums is due to a manufacturing process requiring 48 to 72 hours (fermentation + distillation), and the use of traditional methods for cutting the long cane. The cane is cut by hand and the rum is distilled in our iron stills. We are the only distillery in Guadeloupe to use this system.
